Frequently asked questions.

What types of issues do you address in therapy?

I have worked with clients looking for support with anxiety, depression, big transitions in life, self-esteem issues, childhood trauma and abuse, identity exploration (including racial identity, LGBTQ identity, identity as a parent and more), breakups, family conflict, self-doubt, relationship issues, and more.

What can I expect in our first therapy session?

In our first few sessions together, I will be getting to know you and your goals for therapy. Whether you are coming to therapy for support with anxiety, relationship issues, or to process grief or trauma, I will want to get to know your strengths and values so that we can work together toward your goals. I encourage clients to ask any questions they may have for me about our work together, and to continue to assess whether I seem like a good fit.

Do you offer online therapy?

Yes, I offer online therapy through secure video sessions. At the moment, all of my sessions take place online and I do not hold in-person sessions.

Do you take insurance?

I am not in-network with any insurance providers. If you have out-of-network benefits for therapy, I may be able to provide you with what is called a “superbill” that you submit to your provider for insurance. Please feel free to ask me about this on our consultation call.

What is your fee per session?

My fee per session is $175 for individuals, and $200 for couples or families.

How long are therapy sessions?

Therapy sessions with me are 50 minutes long. I prefer to see clients on a weekly basis as I feel this is the best pacing in order to build and maintain a therapeutic relationship and see progress. As clients start to meet their goals and when it feels appropriate, we can discuss moving to every-other-week sessions.

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask that clients please cancel before 24 hours prior to our session, otherwise I charge my full fee. This cancellation fee can be waived if a session is able to be rescheduled in the same working week, but my availability may be limited.
